My name is Rachel, and in an oversaturated fashion industry, I decided, perhaps a little ironically, to start my own clothing line anyway: De Huismuts Homewear.

Precisely in a world where fast fashion is the norm and collections succeed each other at a rapid pace, I wanted to create the opposite. Timeless items that are comfortable, last long, and can be worn in various ways. Because if you have the right pieces in your wardrobe, you don't actually need much.

So much clothing is produced, a large part of which is ultimately destroyed, and I find that an eternal shame and unnecessary. That's why at De Huismuts Homewear, we work with limited drops. This way, we produce consciously, keep our collections small, and only make what is truly worn and appreciated.
